Good Monday Morning 02/28/05

  1. Good morning.............

Hard to imagine that February is already gone, where does the time fly to?
I remember waiting the summer to get my driver's license and each day seemed like it had 48 hours, now they just fly by...or is it just my imagination?

Two more days to work then a few days off, well deserved, too.........

Have a great day and enjoy breakfast, what ever you want to make.

Time does indeed fly. I just had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, so I'm good to go. This is Day #4 of four off and haven't lifted a finger in housework. Can't now that dear spouse is asleep. I'm tired of Chemistry and going to take a day off from that.

Hopefully, I'll be ambitious enough to go to the gym when they open at 5am. (I miss the 24-hr hours they used to have. )

    Have a great day people!

Good Monday Morning! It is raining here and my daughter went out to get the dog off the cable and put him in the basement and he took off .... he'll probably get in a good swim in the river and rummage through someone's garbage before morning. But he'll be back on the front porch waiting for us.

Darn dog - can't let go of him for a second.

Tweety - I've ratcheted up my exercise because the eating less program wasn't going well Started jogging and going to Curves. I walked today. Beautiful here . .. large dark billowing clouds with small areas of blue peeking through and Burney Mountain covered in snow . .Lassen and Shasta are nowhere to be seen. Hope the rain subsides before morning.

The house is quiet . .I didn't even watch the Oscars. The kitchen is cleaned. A little glass of Bailey's is calling me . ...

    good morning, good friends,:melody:

well, i'm working & as usual it's jumping here. i'm charge & you all know by now how much i hate that!!:angryfire
tonite, no one is happy--everyone griping about everything!!:angryfire
    and, that's just the staff!!
no, actually, my patient's are all pretty stable & i had all of the same ones last nite--that's a big help!!

stevie, your exercise program seems awsome. i don't seem to be losing much weight just with the dieting, so i think i'll have to do some walking. with all my arthritis, a lot of the exercises are out, but maybe i'll take the trusty cane & start walking, even tho it will kill me@!! maybe i'll take the dog too!! poor barney, won't know what's going on!!

suzanne, it seems that every year i get older, the time goes faster!! it is now just speeding by!!

tweety, are you going back to work tomorrow? i do envy that 4 days you had. at the end of this week, i'll have 3 nites off!! yes!!

well, i'd better get back to work

I've been off work since last Monday - I work this Tuesday. I don't think I wanna go back.

Can I just say how nice it is not to have to worry about getting to bed by 7 p.m. and then up at 1:45 a.m.?

I know, I whine alot. Just wish that darn lottery was easier to win.

Mary - I jog veerrrry slowly on one day and then do Curves the next. I was jogging 6 miles 3 times a day up until I was 6 months preggers with my last child who is 3 1/2. I've jogged off and on since then. But it is always hard to retrain yourself and I get discourage. I do love to take walks though.

Sorry about being in charge - I'm supervisor and ER nurse on Tuesday and Wednesday. I actually like that better than floor nursing.

    Morning everybody,

Working monday night, did NM a favor by coming in overtime the unit can open all the beds since we will have adequate staff on both day and night shift for the rest of the week.

Tweety, lucky you to get four off in a row.

    Good morning fam.
Yes, hard to believe Feb is gone and March is just tomorrow. Going down home to see bio fam in a couple weeks...we're all just about born in March. We'll just have one big cake with one big candle to blow out together. Should be fun. Got to work today. Need to hit the hay to get a little shut eye...you know how it is. Have a great day folks. Make your mark. Each day counts.

Good morning all I got up early this morning (8:00 is early for me since I usually work eve shift) I have to give my notice today which I'm not looking forward to. I was planning to do it in person, but my nurse manager is extremely busy and hard to find (she manages 2 units) so do you think it's appopriate to put it in writing in case I don't see her in person today? She knows I was looking around at other jobs and I know the nurse manager from the oncology clinic called her for a reference, so it won't come as a surprise.
We had our winter skating party on Saturday, it was a blast! My sister's boyfriend brought his snowmobile and pulled everyone around on the ice on a snow tube. We had a bonfire and made s'mores but it was so cold everyone's fingers were frozen trying to toast the marshmallows and the s'mores were stone cold by the time you put the darn things together :chuckle
So much for an early spring (there's no such thing here in Maine) we're getting that snowstorm of yours Jnette, they're predicting 6-12 inches by Tuesday afternoon
