Wait....you mean....you can SEE things, in Vegas?????Like real things???? Things that don't say "Ding Ding Ding-Dong Dong Dong" Things that don't say "JOKERS WILD".

I think you should see the Belliago, they have dancing water fountains outside that are way cool. I went to Margaretville for supper and had a great time, but I love Jimmy Buffet music.
If you want a cool souvenior go to the Alladin, they take these pictures of you on a magic carpet ride through Las Vegas, it is a fun and neat thing. I also went to see Cirque de Soleil, the show was Q, INCREDIBLE!
Went last year for the nursing convention and cannot wait to go again this year!

Yes definately see the Bellagio....the Alladin is not longer the Alladin..it is now Planet Hollywood. I was there in May. It should be finished now...go to the NY NY and The Paris hotel. NYNY has good food for decent prices and so did Paris. Ceasers has the talking statue show...actually just about any hotel there has a theme and things to see and do. I love Vegas. We used to go on every break from school. Have a blast!!!

If you can work it in you must see the Blue Man Group at the Venitian! It is a wonderful show of sound, visual, and interactive fun!!!! The dancing fountains at the Bellagio are way to cool to miss and are free!

Have a wonderful time! There is a lot to see and do!

Oh and be careful of the "chic-chic" guys on the street corners handing out escort literature.... they bang the papers on thier hands making that "chic-chic" sound before they try to hand them to people! Oh and the "How long you going to be here, where are you from guys" they want you to sit for hours at thier time share presentations!

Go to the Stratosphere after dark to take the elevator up to the top and see an incredible view of the whole Strip! If you are much braver than I am take one of the rides that go on the OUTSIDE of the top of the Stratosphere. (My son loved it!)

Bellagio buffet is a must. Awesome food, but a lil pricey. If you're a thrillseeker, the rides on top of the Stratosphere will be for you....if nothing else, go up there for the view.

As far as nightlife...I would definitely check out Rum Jungle at Mandalay Bay or Rain at The Palms.

If you want to see any shows, look them up and get tickets now if it's popular.

But if you aren't the type to make plans, just about every casino has something to do!

Move to the Breakroom as it's not nursing related.

    Carry On!

The Rio has the BEST buffett!
    Try out all the coasters.
Gamble downtown on Freemont street, and catch the Freemont street experience. It's every hour at nighttime.
Ceaser's palace has a cool 3D IMAX motion-type ride. It's neat. Plus they have a lot of shopping.
Paris has a little bakery inside with really decadent tarts.
Oh, I could go on forever...
