Lots of people are upset about this. I don't know what to think.

Just plain humorous. It is hard to take these people seriously.

Well, if Ellison were working for the enemy he might:

    1. Divert our military from hunting down bin Laden

    2. Tie up our military in Iraq so we can't use them elsewhere

    3. Invade Iraq with no post-invasion plan

    4. Disband the Iraqi army to provide trained but idle young men to the insurgency

    5. Divert funds from Iraqi insurgency into private hands

    6. Blindly pursue a failed political strategy in Iraq

    7. Let the Taliban recover in Afghanistan

    8. Increase the US consumption of oil

    9. Provide our military with inadequate body and vehicle armor.

    10. Enrage the Muslims and the World by torturing prisoners.

Yeah. That's what our enemy would do.

I some ways, I agree. And in some ways, I don't.

The sad fact is that a significant number of Congress (and this includes a significant number of Democrats) went along with this and continue to go along with this.

The administration may want to do what it wants - but the blind acceptence of the legislature to "go along" is what is bothersome! The easiest way to put this to ease is to view the voting records of Congressmen/Congresswomen over the past 4 years.

From there one can easily see who voted for what and who should really be held responsible!

Don't know much about this Ellison, and I'm not so sure I'm all that wild about Beck for the most part... BUT... I watched his interview with Benjamin Netanyahu last noc, and I'll have to say, I couldn't agree more with what was said there. And it's really time we wake from our slumber.

While I'm not in favor of this Iraq invasion as I do believe we were misdirected in that one, I do feel that Iran is the true and imminent concern. Too many similarities to Hitler's 1938, and what was said about them not being "deterrable" due to the suicidal and apocolyptic nature of the plan is frightening indeed.

    What say you?
