Glass in Hand

  1. Hi, there -

I am new to this board and will be starting nursing school in two months, but have a question that I think most of you could answer for me.

A friend of mine thinks that he might have some small fragments of glass in his hand from a fight that occured one week ago. The would has starting healing, but is there a way for him to find out if he does indeed have glass in his hand?

    Thank you!

does this friend also run with scissors by any chance?

the Acme company makes a great little product called "glasspy"
ur friend puts his hand under this microscope type thing, and a big siren goes off if there are any fragments of glass found..
cool huh? its like a metal detector , but for glass

you might have a hard time getting it away from elmer fudd, but good luck

just kidding, seriously , have your friend get his hand checked out if he's concerned about it..
in the future, the use of brass knuckles in fights might be an idea

good luck in nursing school and welcome to allnurses Jillian!
