Geeeeeeez!!!

  1. Y'all, I just 'got back' from the spectrum bb....man....I feel like I need a beer and a NAP. I mean, we can gripe over here, sure, and maybe it's just the posts I saw, but MAN!!! Has anyone else noticed how freakin' NEGATIVE it is over there???

E-V-E-R-Y-B-O-D-Y , and I mean just about everybody over there seems to HATE their job!!! Whoa!!!

Not that the job's a cake walk...but good Lord....I do have some GOOD days too....

Bleah. Just had to get that out. I feel like I'm all 'toxic' now after reading so much negativity....

Hey shay......It is very sad how so many people can be soooooo unhappy.

I visit over there and post at times...I have recently made comments to how unhappy they all seem.

I would like to know who told them that nursing was a "cake walk".

NO KIDDING!! It's burnout central, man. I just got a HEADACHE from reading all the toxic crap they throw around!!!

If they hate their jobs THAT MUCH, they seriously need to think about filling out an application at Wal-Mart.

I just want to tell them to have a drink, sit down, put their feet up, AND CHIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!

I would think walking with a cake wouldn't be all that easy.....

At least, not without all the running we have to do...With my luck the cake would land on a patient and I would have to spend valuable time I did not really have, to clean up the mess......Am I wrong here? Maybe some people have no where else to air their negativity...I kind of feel sorry for them because, on my WORST night at work, I am STILL proud and happy that I am a nurse and of the differences I know I have made throughout the years. My dad used to say as long as I really believed that, it would STILL be worth it....

I went there ONE time and was so turned off that I lurked here for 9 months before I registered.

When it's gotten so crazy and I needed help, I've hugged the other nurse for giving me a hand b/c without her, I don't know what I would have done. Some nights I wonder why I ever wanted to be a nurse...other nights I know why.
