Funny Movies

  1. OK, now I'll ask the next movie question: What is your all-time favorite FUNNY movie?

I have several, among them the Mel Brooks film Blazing Saddles. Who can forget the campfire scene?? I still LMAO every time I watch this movie.

I also love the old Pink Panther movies and anything with smart-aleck animals in it (e.g. Dr. Dolittle, Homeward Bound). :roll :chuckle

Funny movies are my absolute favorites. There is already enough sadness in the world without watching movies engineered to make you cry JMNHO. I like Rob Schneider movies like The Animal, and Deuce Bigelow mentioned by Kristi above. Shoot I still like the 3 Stooges. The stupider something is the more I laugh. Some funny movies you need to watch at least 5 times to get it all.

"Waking Ned Devine" has to be one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.

"Strictly Ballroom", while not classified as a comedy, has some very funny moments.

Both of these movies are great entries in the "feel good" category.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding (hilarious)

and in the dark comedy category...Harold and Maude. One of my favorite movies.

    The Burbs,
    What About Bob,
    NL Christmas Vacation,
    A Christmas Story (w/Ralphie & Randy),
    Austin Powers movies,
Jim Carrey comedies (just don't like him as much in drama),
    Fools Rush In,
Office Space--hilarious because it feels all too real!

    Yes, I'll admit I'm a nerd & will sit and laugh through Home Alone 1 & 2
