Sorry about your problems Bethin - personally I adore cats - sorry
HOpe you get it sorted soon. Thoughts for your sil & babies too.
You take care on the road Suzy!!
It is a beautiful day here in London UK, as it was yesterday - sunny & really, really mild for the time of year - only needed a jumper when I collected my kids from school in the afternoon. The daffodils are coming out & spring is definitely in the air!! The sort of day that just cheers you up looking out the window! SEE as I told you guys already - the UK doesn't always have terrible weather!:chuckle Not that it makes me want to stay - too many other things make me want to leave but honestly the weather isn't actually one of them!
Had a great shift yesterday -all 5 patients of mine were just really nice people, funny, happy, great to look after - made the time fly by & it made my nursing care better for it too - a happy nurse = great care in my book!
I'm in charge over the weekend so I hope nothing awful happens - the other day someone managed to get a patient accepted who died just 2 hours post admission. As a small private & in all truth basically a surgical hospital (similar to USA ambulatory care units I think from what I read - except we do some more acute work too) I just don't know how it happened. No way would I have accepted a patient in that condition. ONLY
because of the type of facility we are mind you - NOT
because I don't care. Apparently the relatives had visited the local funeral parlour earlier in the day - why on earth couldn't they just let the pt die peacefully at home??? Anyhow - I don't
want anyone trying that on me this weekend!!!
Hope you all have a safe & happy day xxx
