    Good morning, everyone.

Mary Ann, thanks for starting the thread today. Fresh berries and milk sound good today.

I have to work today, too. I'm off this weekend, and we need more of a massive house cleaning. I swear I'm going to get a dumpster one of these days and pitch everything, then start over. DH is a terrible pack rat. One of the worst I've seen.

    Have a great day, everyone.

    Hi!

I am sure hungry for some breakfast too!

Haven't been posting much. DH & I are going through a very rough patch. I've never been a quiter, but after 14 yrs., I think I may be reaching that point. Starting therapy for myself next week.

Sorry to be the downer on a Happy Friday!!!! Hope everyone is well.

    Hi to all!

Thanks for starting the thread. Good luck with the studies.
I will be on a different sleep schedule today so I will visit more later and probably over noc. Off the weekend.
I've got to get some sleep so I can take "my baby" for his driver's test this afternoon. He's the last one I've been toting around and I'll be glad when he can drive himself. Of course, I fear for the other drivers on the road. I had the same fear with the other two boys, but it was unfounded.
I am rather hungry this am. If you were all here, I'd cook you up a 4 egg omelet w/cheese, blueberry pancakes and juice. YUMMY

Morning all... here's some cereal w/ milk, juice, coffee (with flavored syrups if you so desire), and danishes! :hatparty:

Hopefully will be a quiet day here... my plan is to FINISH my nursing school essays and put the application in the mail on my lunch break! Will be nice to have that off my back... then on to nervous waiting. I have NO idea how long they take to make their decision. And I have NO idea what my chances are as an out-of-state applicant. We'll see.

Anyone got good plans for the weekend? Just found out that my A&P class is cancelled tomorrow morning, woohoo! Get to sleep in a bit. Need to tackle some cleaning this weekend, it's been getting out of hand and is driving me a wee bit nuts. Dinner at a local wine bar w/ my parents on Saturday. It's really just the most wonderful place, very relaxed, laid back. So looking forward to that.

Mary Ann, thank you for starting the GM thread.

cyberkat, I've been tempted to do the dumpster thing, too...

Fun, good luck w/ chem... when are you done exactly?

    Tweety, enjoy the day off.

Jess, you have Saturday class, too, huh?

USA, don't think I've met you before. Sorry to hear about the troubles w/ DH... hope therapy helps you with the decision making process.

Shelly, good luck to your son on his drivers test. We got back to the park & ride last night (where the bus picks us up and drops us off) and there was a driver education vehicle roaming the lot looking for places to practice parking. We were sure we were going to witness an accident when the kid tried backing into a parking spot. Luckily she did okay. We were just glad she wasn't attempting to park next to us! Course I still remember drivers ed pretty vividly myself... on my first trip out (first time driving EVER as my parents had standards and wanted me to learn automatic before they let me near their cars) I almost drove us into the side of a building and also nearly drove across my best friend's front yard. And driving 40 MPH felt FAST! You will be relieved to know that my skills have VASTLY improved in the ensuing 11 years! Funny memories.

Okay, back to essays here. Be back later!

Your countdown is giving me a breakdown. It's finally down to 1.......LOL!

Guess what happened to me yesterday?

Well, I went to go check the mail and sure enough there is a letter from my school. Obviously, when I saw a thin piece of envelope I almost fainted. I opened it and it wasn't it. It was a congratulatory letter from the president's desk about making it to the president's and dean's list last semester.

Well, as good as the letter was that is not the letter I was expecting.

    :chuckle :chuckle :chuckle

I know, I'm getting to where I'm scared to open the letter when I do get it!!!!!

The ONLY letter I better be getting from today until next Friday from that school BETTER be the one I'm waiting on. I think I WOULD faint! LOL

Congrats on the letter that you did get though, that's great!

arciedee: 2 more classes to go....Wednesday is our last day! Sometimes you got to love accelerated classes! lol

USA: So sorry about what you are having to deal with right now.

shellyjellybelly: Just keep your son out of TX, and we'll be fine. LOL I don't look forward to that day at all. My dd is 14, and she is bugging us already. lol We bought a 71 Chevelle shell for her, so now we need to start thinking about fixing it up. Either that, or dh may have to cut a hole in the bottom and let her use it like the Flinstones did. :roll

Good mornin' Tweety, hope your study day goes well.
