You'll do fine, WalMartADN. You know we're proud of you, and wishing you well! I'm sure that you will do just fine! :kiss

((((((((((WALMART_ADN)))))))) You are going to do just fine! I'll say a prayer for you tonight and during tomorrow so you'll be as calm as any graduate nurse can be when faced with taking the NCLEX. Breathe now....in.....out......slowly....relax your mind....tell yourself you are the most confident and wise nurse of all who knows her stuff, and how to apply it. Build yourself up! The only thing that could happen is a "repeat performance"....so you are never out until YOU decide to give up...and I don't think our girl Walmart is going to "give up".....do you? Of course not.....so go Walmart! Knock em dead! I'm rooting for you all the way! :kiss

    :hatparty: :angel2:

Sorry.....repeating the test is NOT the worse thing that could happen, it's just another golden opportunity to take the exam and pass. :kiss

You shall take the test. You shall pass. So it is written, so let it be done.

    Breathe, breathe, breathe!

This is nothing compared to the freak out you have when you're done with the test lol.

We all have every faith in you. Nothing we say is going to fix the butterflies, but we're here thinking about you. Best wishes!

Just imagine us hollering and cheering you on "LeAnn, LeAnn" (then give us a loud cyber-shut up) or perhaps that one song from Rocky when he's running up the stairs..."Do do doooo, do do doooo, etc... as you take your exam

Ok, maybe not...but we'll be thinking and praying for you anyhoo! :chuckle

When I took my exams, I was nervous and anxious too... as we all were ! are !

The first question , I didn't know the answer !!!!!!!
Talk about a near freakin' panic attack !!!!

The second question, I didn't know the answer !!!
Freakin anxiety about to overcome me !!!!
I'm panicking.... !!! What IF ALL THE QUESTIONS ARE
SO HARD THAT I DON't know any of them ??? !!!!

I'd never opened a book in the 5 months from finishing school until testing. Now, I was freaking ! 'THIS IS WHAT I GET !! I SHOULD HAVE STUDIED !!!!

Third question......I MIGHT know the answer.....afraid to look up cause of the monitoring people, they might think I'm looking on someone's paper.

Read third question 3 more times, pause and look up at the ceiling, deep breaths, "you can do this", ......answered third question and got down to business.

The first dozen or so were tense and anxious, after that, it was just like being in class taking an exam. I concentrated .

I scored in the top 10 percentile out of 1480 applicants testing.
I'm sharing this to let you know.......there isn't one thing that you might feel or think that hasn't been experienced by a previous tester. There was even testers who fainted, ...many who went to the bathroom and puked......there is so much at stake, all your hopes and hard work...all those years of study. It IS stressful!

Tonight and tomorrow, do not open a book if you are still reviewing. If you don't know it by right now, you don't know it. Our counselor had advised us to have donuts for breakfast...that the brain thrives on glucose...and to "feed it" prior to testing. Loved that advice and I did ... all day long...both days.

Good Luck and Best Wishes. You will do just fine.

Anyone who can find their way to this BB, and study , and still participate in the BB, and who has all these prayers supporting them all day tomorrow...... is way AHEAD OF THE CROWD !!!!
