    Hey guys,
Thanks Mary. I got that email too. I am thinking that this break room is one place where we can find out things like this. It will be too bad that only paid members will have access to that kind of information!

    God bless!

Please do NOT post personal information on the board. This board is Google linked so the information is available across the web.

I too am worried about Fran but please, if you want to contact her PM either Nursemary or one of the staff. remember too if she is this sick she may not have the strength to recieve so many personal well wishes no matter how well intentioned. It would be best if we could do something as a group.

[font=Comic Sans MS]Mary Ann, I also received the e-mail about Fran. Wanted to call but realized with double pneumonia and ?septicemia, she no doubt doesn't feel up to chatting. If anyone is going to get together and do something for her, please let me know, O.K??

[font=Comic Sans MS]She is in my prayers, but am terribly worried about her, as I know we all are.

I will send her another snail nail card. I also thought about calling, but then thought better about it.

I think the idea of the whole website gets together and send her a card would be the best thing...I am sure that it would be good and she wouldn't be stampeded with many many cards and phone calls when the one thing that she needs is sleep.

I remember last year when I was in the hospital and the year before when I was home trying to recover from pneumonia, phone calls were the one thing that I didn't want. The good thoughts and prayers is something that she needs more than phone calls I am sure.

(emphasis mine) This is not true, and to my knowledge, limited though it may be, has never been part of the plan.

Everyone will be able to read the posts in the breakroom and current events. However, posting there will be limited to premium members.

So we will always (until and unless there is a change to that effect) be able to read that info....

Now, about Fran.... I got the email also, and I thought to call and then thought not, because she needs her rest, and then I figured, they can turn off the phone if it is that big a deal.

So I called. Fran answered. She sounds congested and gravelly (but it's the first I've heard her voice and she says she sounds like a man normally, so maybe all I heard wasn't the URI). She was not having any extreme difficulty breathing--she able to talk without any gasping that I could hear.

She sends her best--asks for prayers, and, being Frannie, says this is character building..... Oh--her daughter sent the emails out because Fran asked her to, so Fran knows we know.

I'm sending a card today. I don't want to overwhelm her with phone calls. Besides, I only know her through here anyway. But she is in my prayers.

Fran, hang in there....what a lousy thing, being hospitalized again, esp. at Christmas time.
