Your link didn't say this, but I read that the former Gov trashed his wife in his book and ordered her to leave the governor's mansion, but not before being told to stand by her man for a press conference.

I don't care if he's gay or not. But I think he could have handled this a bit more privately. He had a wife (and 2 kids I think) and he should have treated them with more respect. Saying he had an affair with an aide and all this other crap is unprofessional. And the aide is saying it never happened and that he was sexually harrassed. I feel sorry for the wife who probably thinks her whole marriage was a lie.

How can he have any credibility when it comes to counseling ,while an Episcopal priest? How can the church reconcile his past conduct in his future role as a moral compass for parishoners? His homosexuality is not the problem, as the Episcopal church recognizes it as a legitamite form of human sexuality and rightfully so, BUT his lying and coniving are very troublesome. It may truly take an act of faith to accept that he has repented of his old decietful ways, and become a trustworthy human being, especially in his role as a clergy person.

I was going to say the same thing but couldn't make it come out as nicely as you did.

this guy lied to his wife, maried her under false pretenses

outed [or lied about] other man, who had a right to his privacy

has done everything to get his hands on money, man has no class

episcopalian church trying to so with it they don't have the back bone to refuse him entrance
