Favorite things

  1. this was posted on another website and i found it most interesting. what are some of your favorite things?

mine are looking at old photos, thunderstorms, reading those saved love letters from my husband, hugs from my grown kids, sitting on the beach and watching the waves roll in, curled up with a good book on a cold winter's night.
as the song goes, these are a few of my favorite things...anyone else?

Hmmm, some of my favorite things are driving in my new Ford escape late at night with my sister and laughing as we try to be cool with the windows down and Blink-182 going as loud as it will go, going to dallas stars games with my dad, Hurley shirts, and I love the smell of fall and when it snows in Texas....that's the best.

Several days off in a row with no bills to pay and no adgenda.

    A Beach vacation in Feb.

    Watching my son sleep.

Hearing the birds chirping and the wind blowing in the trees in my back yard.

Puttering in my yard with my flowers.

    Lunch with friends.

Not wearing a watch and not caring what time it is.

Fishing and catching (fish and sunshine)

Riding my bike with no destination.

Old movies on a cold Sunday afternoon wrapped in a quilt.

Coming home to a clean house and I didn't clean it.

Hearing old people tell stories of the past.

To LOL when I am alone.

A good cup of coffee in an old mug, while sitting in a rocking chair watching the lake early in the morning at my friends cabin.aaahhh I can smell it now!.....imaRN
