I have so many favorites from over the years I've lived that I couldn't name just one. My musical tastes are eclectic; just about the only genre I don't care for is rap, and of course I hate that gawd-awful screaming that some of the bands do today. (I can't even understand the words when they yell like that, but then I probably don't want to.)

Otherwise my preferences run to classic rock (even though I cannot for the life of me force myself to think of any song from my young-adult years as an "oldie"!!), country and western, and easy listening. My favorite new song is Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up"---what a truly inspiring song that is, I get chills every time I listen to it.

I'll also listen to anything by Alan Jackson and Enrique Iglesias, and I love movie music......I've almost worn holes in my "Chicago" and "Once Upon a Time In Mexico" CDs. Then there's classical Spanish guitar, which I swear I'm going to learn to play some day; Esteban is my favorite artist (he's the guy on TV who does the "Gift of Guitar" infomercials.....you haven't heard Spanish guitar until you've heard him play the hell out of "Malaguena").

A favorite? no. Many, many favorites.

One of my all-time faves..."Solsbury Hill" by Peter Gabriel (followed by "Here Comes the Flood" by Peter Gabriel, "Red Rain" by Peter Gabriel...and anything else by Peter Gabriel! )

I love a lot of songs. From the oldie's to classic rock to 80's pop to some of today's hits (I like that new one by Marooned Five). Also love classical, jazz and some country.

Quite an electic list you have there. I love the record that Closer to Fine is on. I love "History of Us" off that album. They just put out a new album a couple of weeks ago that is very good, check it out if you like the Indio Girls.

well, I like mostly hip-hop ( or "rap" as most of you call it ) and R&B.

I really like Alicia Keyes "you don't know my name"

Most of the other songs I like are booty songs and even I don't understand all the words to them.

Lately I LOVE listening to Jack Johnson, esp. 'Bubble Toes' and 'Flake.' I also like anything by G Love and Dave Matthews. The Indigo Girls are also an all-time favorite. Oh, and I love jazz too (Brubeck, Miles Davis, Stan Getz). I could go on for hours, so I'll stop now :chuckle

I would have to say my #1 all time favorite is

The ballad of Curtis Lowe: Lynard Skynard

I too am very ecclectic and have many songs I love

op I Like Kidrock, Only God Knows why, and many more did not care for the one you like The picutre, just too slow for me

Everlast, Childrens Stories on the last one and What its like, and Ends from the first one

I like the Doors a great deal and Pink Floyd is the shiznit, I also like Jimmy Buffet George Jones, George Strait, Hank sr and jr., Jonny Cash, I too feel that music in which the words can NOT be understood is not for me.
