I watched "I am Sam" this morning and my eyes are still swollen from crying. Sean Penn is my favorite actor and he did a great job. The child that played Lucy was fantastic! Last week I watched "A Beautiful Mind". Russell Crowe deserved the Oscar for that. I'd read Sylvia Nash's book--far preferred the movie!

I loved the movie "Mrs. Doubtfire" with Robin Williams in it, and I also loved his movie "Good Morning Vietnam".

I liked the movie titled "The Other Sister"...BTW:...Great movie...so funny.

Hubby and I both saw Hallie Barry's movie "Monster's Ball" and hated it. Very boring.....couldn't see one scene in that movie that smelled of Oscar material, so we are so as to "why" she won an Oscar for her portrayal in that movie. Any thoughts? Her co-star...Billy Bob Thornton...was enjoyable though. I loved his movie "Slingblade" and have watched it a half dozen times already. Ohhhhh Billy Bob...:kiss

There are so many good movies out. My husband rented "A Beautiful Mind" and really enjoyed it. I didn't watch it as I was more into something else that day, but I'll rent it again and watch it on a weekday afternoon while I chomp on some Orville Redenbacher's popcorn.
