OK, we've had the "favorite chips" thread. Now, what dip or concoction do you like for your chips?
In no particular order, here are three of my faves:
Lipton's onion soup mix dip (the classic!) with potato chips
Spinach dip with fritos (gotta be with fritos) -- recipe on the back of the Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing package -- only I add 6 or more well-chopped green onions (the more the better).
A dip I stumbled upon: Buffalo dip. Sour cream, Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing (about 1/2 package per 8 oz sour cream), a Tablespoon or so of liquid hot sauce (Crystal, in my neck of the woods), and a tablespoon or so of red wine vinegar. Gotta experiment with your own tastes on this one, to get the right tang and spice. It is SO GOOD with potato chips!!!
