Fashion Crisis

  1. OK, I bought a couple of pairs of jeans.

    Over the Internet.

    I love 'em.

But one pair is too long by about four inches. Tried a heel, didn't help.

Would you cut 'em, hem 'em, or cuff 'em?

    Cut 'em.

Probably get a cool lookin' boot cut out of the deal

A good tailor shop in your area should be able to hem them so that no one could tell. I sholdn't think it would be too expensive.
I have worked with denim a couple of times but you have to get specific needles for your sewing machine.

    Depends on the pair.

If they're the nice, worn-looking, casual, boot-cut type jeans, I'd cut them and let the ends fray, but keep them long enough so that they almost touch the floor even when youi're wearing shoes.

If they're a darker color or more dressy jeans, get them hemmed at a tailor's shop. They can do it so that they leave the original hem attached, and sew the cut end of the jeans to that hem, so you don't lose that perfect bottom. Know what I mean?

I'm 4'10", so believe me, I know what I'm talking about here!
