Thanks UntamedSpirit! That was an interesting web-site. Enjoyed why people got married in June and why the bridesmaids carrying bouquets of flowers! Reading about the wake was funny! Those poor animals falling off the roof...felt bad for them.

I got a big kick out of thw why bouquets were carried and why June was so popular...but I know the vision in my head of people sitting around at a wake and have the "body" sit bolt up right was too much for me....BWWAAAHAHAhahahahahaha!

Thinking of those old days, how many of you know you would have died as a child if born back then? Appendicitis, etc.
Just think of all the stuff that we think nothing of nowadays that were fatal back then.

Thanks for ALL your recent links- I have been to amedieval fairs here in Austrailia and there is one thing that all us Aussies agree on. We wouldn't mind living back then but we would want to have as many baths as we have now!!!I know we are bath/ shower mad over here!

You are most welcome gwenith. If they entertain, infor, support or help in any way...then I have done something useful for my fellow nurses I agree....must have baths and showers as often as possible
