    I loved Paul.

Cheerfuldoer . . I somehow missed Alecia Keys . . I saw the ceremony for WW11 vets and the National Anthem was sung by all the military academies. It was very beautiful.

How did I miss Alecia? Weird.

Oh, my husband said I was on the computer (go figure). He said and I quote:

"Well, thank God they went to Ray Charles singing instead". Guess he doesn't like Alecia - I'm not a big fan either. I love Ray Charles though. DH said that there were blind student there from the school Ray attended as a kid. I'm sorry I missed that part.

stevie...thanks for posting where all the kids came from that I saw performing. I was wondering who they were and why they were singing on the SuperBowl!

Yes, Alicia did sing prior to the military troops number. It was all so awesome and heartfelt for me.

i missed miss Keyes! thought she was the opening part of the half time show... oh well... Paul was an excellent choice and chose good songs. ( iwas a bit worried he'd sing all "new" stuff that i wouldn't know or like). I must say though that the commercials were dry, boring and for the most part just terrible. I usually expect more than a few good laughs from them, guess they ran out of ideas this year.

I thought for $80,000 a second they would have better commercials also.I seen Alica sing and nobody mentioned Charlie Daniels.I did'nt know the Girl country singer though that started it all off.Was a good game.Way to go New England:hatparty:

    I thought it was great!!!

Ray Charles was a student at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind, which is in St. Augustine, FL (about 1 hr. away from Jacksonville). We have a couple patients in our clinic who attend there.
