1. do you get annuual eval/raises? if so how much do you expect? we can get up to 6% but the wording of the questions on the eval form is unrealistic. you have to go above and beyond to get the max. the things on there you cannot go above and beyond. it is impossible to get a 6. it depends on the boss but i went from 3.8 with one boss to 3.4 with another boss. i'm doing the same freakin thing. am frequently listed on the satisfaction surveys as excellent. the boss had just started so she didn't know my work when she eval'd me but still it just ain't right.

You get raises??? I worked for public hospital so when our county was in great financial trouble, they laid off many hospital workers, including nurses. Raises are usually from .20-.50 an hour, depending not so much on evals but on our county operating in the black. Many years, we went without raises but we always got evals and promises.

We get annual evals by our manager. They range from 1.5% to 3.0%. You have to walk on water for the latter.
    Need I say more.

Hello, I evaluate all of my staff every year. Each year the union negotiates for the amount the raise will be. This year it was 9%.

You either get the whole raise or none of it. Makes my job easier, as you either are good or you are not. the hard thing about evals here is that each employee has to come up with goals for themselves and complete them within a year. Things like inservice the staff on disposable CO2 detectors.

    Usually everyone gets the raise.

I want to come work for you!!!!! 9% WOW!!!!!! We also have to come up with our own goals,...but we are not even gaurenteed a yearly raise. Our hospital does a market target survey to see where we fall in our area acording to cost of living,...etc.... We have gotten like 2.5% raises the last two years. That does not even compare with 9%!!!!!! I just can't get over that!!!!!!
