Yanno, it's so odd to me-----these "types" will protest the "killing of unborn babies" (their right to do so, yes)----but....

they will KILL Others to make their point? And often claim CHRISTIANITY as their religion? I never will understand this mindset long as I live.

Fanatics like this truly make me ill. I can't say I am sorry to see him go. Not at all.

ITA. And what ppl "claim" as their "religion" does not make that person what that religion or belief system is all about. Just gives that belief system a bad name, because ppl see these actions in the "name of" and which have nothing to do with the "Christianity" he claims. Ppl tack on a lot of stuff of their OWN thinking and interpretation... this leads to big trouble down the road.

Glad he finally turned up. May justice be done.

I hear you, Nursenoelle.... I still have much difficulty with this issue myself. Basically AGAINST... however, there ARE times and situations where I waver...

ESPECIALLY when they confess or there is absolutely NO doubt (as in DNA evidence) and the crime is so heinous....

Exactly Jnette- I don't think that I am as much against the death penalty as much as I'm against the overuse. I used to be very cut and dry against. Not so sure anymore. Would not shed a tear for this one.

Good thing that God is big enough to withstand people misusing His word for their own personal agenda. Sad though.

    I'm all for capital punishment.

Jnette . . .love your avatar too BUT I miss the one in the pool.

One of our patient's wife brought carrot cake in to thank us for all the good care . . .. yummm.

Can not and will not miss this man........... When the bomb exploded at the womens clinic in Birmingham I was working 3 blocks down the road......... I will never forget the fear we all felt when we realized what had happened, I can only imagine what Emily Lyons (the nurse that was injured) and Sandy Sanderson (the police officer who lost his life) felt that day........ and the families of both of those victims.....their lives will never be the same.............. wont miss this man in any way.
