Embarrassing : Songs That Remind You Of Your Most Embarrassing Moment

  1. Since we are on a song kick lately, I couldn't help but reminisce about earlier times.

The song that reminds me of one of my most embarrassing moments is
    AQUARIUS.....

I use to be a soprano as a youngster, sang in the choir at my Catholic grammar school, was a bit too confident in my ability for my own sake, we were putting on a show for all the mothers, I was a new smoker (age 12), the smoking was changing my voice for some time and I was not paying attention because I wanted that spotlight!!! and right in the middle of the song, my voice changed from a soprano to an alto and I could not for the life of me hit any of those high notes in the song...
it was truly my first embarrassing moment all the rest were nothing compared to that one.

I still can find my self in that auditorium when that song is played on the airwaves.

DO YOU HAVE A SONG ATTACHED TO ONE OF YOUR EMBARRASSING MOMENTS ???

[font=lucida sans unicode]we go together~from the grease movie......flashback to high school graduation. this song was being played as we marched out of the auditorium after the ceremony. when we were pronounced graduates, a lot of the kids sprayed confetti everywhere.. great, fun, lol....however on the march out, i was skipping along with my boyfriend as we filed out and splat, i slipped on the confetti and fell flat on my back, and then couldn't get up cause i was laughing so hard. i was holding up the whole line. to make matters worse it was videotaped in all its unglory.....:uhoh21:

Guns n' Roses Nightrain ("Loaded like a freight train, Flyin' like an aeroplane, Feelin' like a space brain, One more time tonight")
I have a vague but no less embarrassing memory...of me...in a mini skirt...belting it out at the top of my lungs...standing on a table...in a crowded bar.

Only associations I can make with the topic at hand relate to when I was playing in Beatle cover band at the Jersey shore many years ago.

We had to be quite loud to get over the din of the crowd. One night our monitors blew, but, of course, the show had to go on. Not hearing myself as usual, caused me to sing off-key in several spots.

If Beatle harmonies (or those of C,S, N and Y) are just a tad off, they sound horrible!

    Hence, the embarassment. :imbar

"Fat Bottom Girls" & "Bicycle" by Queen. It made me not want to ride my bicycle. "I want to ride my bicycle." Needless to say, I had to walk twice as far to reduce the size of my gluteus.
