eco challenge

  1. This years jungle journey is impossible. I tried watching it last night but did not enjoy it. To many people getting horrible infections of all kinds. It always bothers me when the type A contestants abuse their fellow travelers when they get ill or injured. This year they have been particularly nasty. It was always been a tough race but this is a killer. People could get killed or develope a permanant illness or injury in thejungle.

    Hi Oramar,

What channel is that on? I always love to watch those competitions but for one reason or another always seem to miss them.

I agree though. Some of the competitors make me a little uncomfortable. I remember a few years ago there was a team with a husband and wife on it and the husband got hurt or was feeling ill the wife wanted to boot him off!

Definately "Survival of the Fitest" mode.

Tonight is the two-hour finale, and it starts an hour early, 8:00 in the Central Time Zone. USA will play a repeat of it at 11:00, in case you can't catch the early one.

I love watching Eco-Challenge, because it's where the REAL "survivors" are. I'm amazed at the competitors' abilities to tackle impossible physical challenges, like "shooting the rapids" in an inflatable kayak -- febrile, delirious and filling your boat with diarrhea from a tropical virus -- and living to tell about it.
