Eating your own words makes for bitter heartburn!!!

  1. I don't know what I was thinking when I said, "What in the he!! can happen next?" I'm finally starting to keep soft foods and Sprite down from my latest incident, not steak but at least it's staying where it should. I feel like all of you are beginning to think that Theresa and I are writing our own soap opera, but as they say, fact is often stranger that fiction. Except in our soap opera, the dead does not return in another role and we all don't live happily ever after once we marry the richest guy in town. I received a call from Theresa a little bit ago. Her Mom fell the night before Theresa's dad's funeral and they had to call EMS to get her off the floor. Ruth refused to go to the ER to be checked out, I can understand that due to what was going on but it turns out that she has a hip FX and they will be doing surgery in the morning and then back to the nursing home she will go. This time Theresa will be all alone in that house with nothing but time and frustration on her hands. Will this year ever end??????

    Duckie,
what makes it better is knowing that we are not alone...
we might be physically alone but... we do have one another to be a sorce of encouragement, a listening post, a source of love...
and my feelings are that there is so much more around us that our eyes just cannot see...
Things that must be felt with the heart...

I am always here for both of you and all others who need someone to encourage or just to listen to...

You are so true my wise friend. This BB is a wonderful source of comfort, all you fabulous friends, and you, well, you know I think you're the greatest. I too, believe there is much around us that we cannot see. And my prayer is that a circle of angels form about Theresa to hold her up and give her strength.

There is a poem I think called "Footsteps", it's very beautiful.

He will carry you is the message. Whenever their are hardships, pain, sadness, I think of that poem and I hope that He will carry you and yours.
