At last, a use for epocrates. According to epocrates the price for cephalexin at www.drugstore.com is........

    250mg 30 caps 7.99
    500mg 30 caps 12.09

Actually I have used epocrates at work when some of our frequent fliers request a 6 pack of vicodin to go because they have no money...but have a pack of cigarettes with them. Had one with a script for 10 7.5vicodin want a 6 pack to go, untill I told her she would have to give the script back. She suddenly found some money in her purse for the script! Just another of the many miracles you see in the ER.

Looks like the vet's the one ripping you off?

I think you can order them online even cheaper. Seems someone told me that before. I know you can buy alot of the PCN's at pet stores, for fish tanks. Just sitting right there, no script needed. Aint that funny?

My 15 year old cocker Frisky has CHF and mitral valve prolapse. Meds she currently takes are: Furosemide, Enalapril and Spriolactone - forgive spelling errors as don't have prescriptions on me and not an RN yet..So dog sees a cardiologist and regular vet. I shopped around for meds as and best place by far was Walmart. I pay about $12 for 30 Spirolactone. I get Furosemide from my vet as he only charges me $12 for 30 day supply. Enalapril is cheap as well. I called Osco, Walgreens, Albertsons and their prices were at least double if not triple what Walmarts is/are. Give Walmart a call..

You can get most any abx at the feed store if you know what you are looking for...came in really handy in the hungry days w/o medical insurance.
