Does anyone remember how to calc C. to F. ? Fahrenheit?

  1. I could look it up, but, I'm sure I'd receive 33,000 sites to visit, and the first ten will be so complex - it would take me 2 hours to attempt. .. and then I still wouldn't be sure if I was right. something about minus __32 __ and then multiply by 5/ I close? I wish we were 100 % metric. Has England gone metric yet?

The weather bulletins tend to use centigrade but they usually say what it is in fahrenheit too!
What I've noticed is that we prefer centigrade when the weather is cold and fahrenheit when its hot
I must admit that if I see one of you saying the temperature is **fahrenheit,I just pop out and look at the equivalent on my garden thermometer!
    Don't forget,we are a nation of weather addicts,we have a saying"if you don't like the weather,don't worry,it will change again in 10 minutes"
    (That converter is great,Stargazer!)

    Celsius to Farenheit:
    (C x 9/5) + 32 = F

    Farenheit to Celsius:
    (F - 32) x 5/9 = C

I thought the way to convert f to c was to get drunk on canadian beer, molsons preffered, plug a bunch o numbers into a calculator, and basically just say "its cold here eh" regardless of what the numbers say , you cant go wrong with "sure is cold out here eh"
    Man double cold HMMMM
is that as cold as wearing a brass bra , swimming in the frozen pond?
Thats just tooooooooooo cold for anyone in their right mind to go outside and check just how cold it is.
Sends you some heart warming thermalizing MOONSHINE your way... Hey it also keeps your fuel lines from freezin lol

Let's see how cold is twice as cold as 0 F.....hmmmm...cold enough to hang meat.....uh well if it was that cold...nothing of mine would be hanging...

No, but really the question is what was the temp difference that made it drop to 0? So if it was 20 and then dropped to 0, then twice as cold would be -20.

I know, I know, I take everything so literally.
