Does anyone else hate one-word titled threads?

  1. Is anyone else tired of one-word titled threads?

I think the Moderators should be able to change the title of the thread to clarify what the thread is about to better encourage some new members to do the same. I mean, no one should take offense if they did. Am I pickey?

This also helps when those that want to research certain subjects by title from old threads.

    What does everyone think?

What bugs me more is when I mouse over a title to see the first sentence or two of the post, and it doesn't indicate what the thread is about. argh!

Moderators can change thread titles, but we try to limit our editing to changes that are necessary to stay within the site's Terms of Service (or at least I do).

I'll tell you what's really frustrating: Occasionally we'll get a member who complains that no one ever responds to his/her questions. Upon looking at the person's post history, we see that the person has started twelve threads, all of which are entitled 'Question.'
