Document link to al-qaeda..

  1. The document shows that an Iraqi intelligence officer, Abid Al-Karim Muhamed Aswod, assigned to the Iraq embassy in Pakistan, is ''responsible for the coordination of activities with the Osama bin Laden group.''

It does not prove that they engaged together in any particular act of terror against the United States.

But it seems to me to be strong proof that the two were in contact and conspiring to perform terrorist acts.

The document shows that it was written over the signature of Uday Saddam Hussein, the son of Saddam Hussein. The story of how the document came about is as follows.

Could this be a link between Saddam and bin laden? Interesting.

How did the CIA miss that one? Why is it not being paraded in front of the public as evidence? I'd like to see more newspapers, or are we supposed to believe that only one copy escaped the shredder? The man who "saved " it showed incredible foresight to do that!

The Telegraph dated 7/21/03 also has an article about documents, not sure if these are the same or different documents from my above post. I don't know the significance of these documents or the reliability of the "finders" or reporters, that will be up to the experts to decide.

I'm not totally convinced a definite link will be proven or believed if found. I'm always interested in new reports of documents, especially when they could involve those responsible for 9/11.
