dieter support thread

  1. Dh took me out to dinner last night at an incredible place. It was built like a castle and the romatic atmosphere made me forget about the diet completely. I'm not going to get on the scale, well mostly cause dh has hidden it away til next week. I'm starting from scratch again, i know i must have gained atleast 5 lbs back.

    I know what you mean! We went out last night and had fried chicken!! Granted, I only ate a wing and part of a back, but have coleslaw and Jojo's (fried potato wedges). The weekends are the worst for me! I'm really trying, but it's hard!

    Last night went to an all you can eat buffett. Full of bad carbs and fat. Loved it.

    Hang in there, everyone!! Just forgive yourselves and move on.........there's nothing wrong with the occasional splurge, and feeling guilty only leads to bingeing. You're doing fine!!

    I weighed myself this am and found out I regained 10 of the 14 lbs I had lost last summer! This wasn't a surprise. My tight pants had already whispered this to me. Well, since 3500 calories= one pound, I better get crackin'!! I just started at a circuit fitness place this wk., and am cutting down on all those high carb snacks I love, esp. when I first get home from work- I could eat anything not nailed down! I would be thrilled if I could lose 1 lb a wk. My goal is 20 lbs by August- not unreasonable. Please, let's keep each other motivated!

    I use to be that way too when i would get home from work, it didn't matter if i got home at 8am i could easily pile away lastnights spaghetti dinner and any junk food i could find. I found now with the diet i'm on(sb) i have to eat 3 square meals a day and don't crave the carbs like i used to.

    Boy tell me about falling of the wagon....I think I even lost the wagon. Trying to limit sugar and boy it's tough....somehow a chocolate covered cherry found it's way into my mouth here at work last night and now someone made carrott cake.....YUKS!
