I don't do dietary supplements beyond daily vitamins and calcium. Don't believe in most of 'em and too much can do harm, not good. and I never take diet aids, like ephedra . never.

I did the Metabolife thing a couple of years ago. That is someone I knew who was taking the thing had a stroke. She was in her 30's at the time. Not sure if being a smoker contributed or not. She was lucky to recover with no residual effects.

    Not worth the risk!

According to what I've been reading in my Nutrition class....NOTHING WORKS except simple dietary changes and increased excercise.

i am in nebraska have been taking nutritional supplements. this company has been around for 10 years, and has a scientific medical advisory board that develops, researches and endorse their products. also can hook you up with samples depending on what kind of goal your looking for.

I am 5 feet tall and two years ago while suffering depression I went from 100 lbs up to 180.
I was going to try diet pills supplements etc.
I visited the nutritionist and kept a daily log.
I had an addiction to my fridge.
I stalked it witth lots of good low cal food and started walking.
I'm down to 115 and feel great. Walk Walk and Walk. Lots of water and veges

I agree with KC CHick... NO diet pills are going to get you thin... They may help you lose weight, but as soon as you stop taking the pills they wt. is gonna come right back....

Change the way you eat, and exercise.. That is all you need to do..

I find that fruit and vegies are high in soluble fibre and low in fat. Celery burns more calories than it contributes. You could always just not look down.... or go for a walk?

How bout you join in on Nurse Ratched's fitness thread? THAT is where you will some answers, I think. NO PILL or CREAM will do for you what you have to do yourself. You may live a long time. Would you not rather do it in a body than can sustain you and a mind that is sharp??????? Pills ain't gonna do that for ya.

Geez, girl...sounds like you were malnourished. Please don't try that again! 800kcals/day is much less than your body requires for it's most basic functions. (BMR) Very dangerous. As a general rule, hairloss is a bad sign, FYI.
If your bod can't get the energy it needs from fat, it turns to muscle...which produces ketones...and acidosis.
    I repeat....don't do that again. Go to your docor...or a nutritionist/dietitian.

I'm weird..don't know how to explain it..guess I'm an ALL or NOTHING kinda person when it comes to food...just need to find that healthy balance and stick with it..Food has been my 'comfort' many times..thinking maybe I need to find comfort in people instead..which is hard for me..I'm not a very trusting person.Guess food is like any other addiction..shows something in my life is missin...wish I'd figure out what that 'something' is soon...lol
