I LOVE Quaker Quakes. They come in all different flavors, but I have only tried the nacho cheese and cheddar cheese. I think they have apple cinnamon too. Deeeeee licious!!

I agree, Quakes are my favorite! I looovvvee the nacho cheese...
I also like to snack on fresh fruit, I don't feel bad "picking" at it all morning because fruit is so healthy! Plus it keeps me from eating other not so healty stuff because it fills me up. I try to eat every couple of hours. Also mabye some veggies...carrots/celery and peanut butter, etc. Kind of boring but at least you don't feel bad for eating it...don't know how it works with an atkins type diet though (too many carbs??) Diet soda or even better--water instead of other drinks (after the morining coffee though!)

Dill pickle spears, only 4 calories each.
    Baby carrots.
    Grape tomatoes.
    Apples.
Crunchy like chips, but low cal, no fat.
I love Quakes and Orville Redenbacher popcorn cakes, but I eat the whole dang bag and then have to count all the danged calories!!!!!! :uhoh21:

No diet sodas if you are really trying to lose weight. You will retain water with them, same as the pickles. Their sodium content is quite high.

Try having smaller meals with something adequate in place of just nibbling on "junk food"................you will feel much better. Are you just trying to cut calories or are you following a diet plan? If so, let me know and I will send you a list of some great things to use. Just let me know how you are planning to do it.

I second the fresh fruit! Be careful, though--if you're not normally a fresh fruit eater, unless you gradually increase your consumption you might end up with a bad case of the runs!

I drink a lot of Diet Coke. Not the healthiest, but it gets my mind off of food & has no calories.

:uhoh21: ummm, cheerios. About 110 calories per cup. But you've got to eat them one at a time...dry. They're crunchy and a little sweet. The Multigrain ones are lots sweeter and only a few calories more per cup.

Hello I'm Boggle, and I'm a cheerios addict.

If you are eating properly, then you should not need to drink Diet Coke to get your mind off of food.....................???

If you would eat properly you wouldn't need the junk foods during the day for an energy boost. I live overseas where the only junk food is loaded with sugar and I just don't use it. If I have snack, it is somehting that is healthy and that won't hurt me...................

Yogurt is also good -- low calorie, low fat, high in calcium and comes in a variety of flavors ( I like Key Lime and Pina Colada).

As others have mentioned, fresh fruit or veggies are great. If you aren't doing low carb, try light popcorn. It really satisfies that "hand to mouth" urge.

Lots of water! It helps you to feel full, does great things for your skin and hair, and generally just makes you feel better. (If you absolutely don't like water, I'd suggest something like Crystal Light.)

I love Jiffy Pop's microwave "Healthy Pop" Kettle Corn - sweet *and* salty - low cal - haven't checked the sodium content but I haven't ballooned up yet .
