Hey Everyone...I have just been put on a sodium restricted diet. BLAH!!! Although I know what foods and spices to avoid using, I am having difficulty finding low sodium recipes that taste good. I am in my last semester of nursing school, I work part-time, and I have to do all the lovely household stuff...so time is limited.
Can anyone post or e-mail me some tasty low sodium recipes that can be cooked in under an hour? I like almost any type of food, but Mexican and Italian are my favorites. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I"m not sure where abouts you are,but I have a great recipe book.It is put out by the Canadian Heart Foundation. There are two.One is THE LIGHTHEARTED COOKBOOK ,and the other is LIGHTHEARTED EVERDAY COOKING.They are both full of everyday, easy and fast recipes! One of my favorite is the lemon chicken breast. One TBSP of olive oil with a pinch of lemon juice and fresh dill baked in the oven for 15 minutes! On pasta!YUM.Turkey bacon BLT's are great too with low fat mayo.Good Luck from someone who should have majority shares in Weight Watchers!LOL

Hi Rileycat- Cooking Light magazine is great! They also have a good website. And the ingredients are normal, everyday stuff.
