DIET anyone????

  1. I have actually used Weight Watchers with a 40 lb weight loss. I liked their system because I could eat the types of food I already liked and learned portion control with their points system. I didn't have to make anything fancy.

I hate that word but have decided I need to drop a few million pounds (at least it seems like that many) and I'd like input on diets you or someone you know have tried with success. I need something that fits into my 2nd shift lifestyle. I cannot eat before mid afternoon. It upsets my stomach for some reason. Most of what I eat is between 5pm and 12am, which is the worst time you can eat. I go to bed about 3am. I cannot do a lot of salads or fruits due to chronic IBS. I've been thinking about doing Slimfast. They have it already in cans which beats trying to cook up something special. I take a lot of vitamins and herbs, so I think Slimfast would be okay nutrition wise. Please advise and give me your recommendations.

I too am on weight watchers right now and its been great. Their point system means no weighing of food and you can still go out for dinner etc and not just have a lettuce leaf! I have lost 34 pounds but have a fair way to go still. Good luck!

I'm on the WW bandwagon also. I lost almost 20lbs last year when I was on it. Unfortunately, I stopped going to meetings when I went back to school last fall and fell off the wagon. I just started back on the program (with 2 weeks of school left) and will hopefully have good results again. I really like the points system and being able to eat what you want helps alot when you don't have much time. Good luck to you!
