Did you meet your spouse at work?

  1. I have met quite a few married couples at work who met at the hospital. It strikes me as an extremely limited "pool" of eligible men, to be looking at your place of employment. I expected 3 or 4, but at least a dozen couples have tied the knot in the past 3 years. And this is a 100 bed facility...
    What do you think?

Small pool with very active fish
I don't see anyone at work I would even want to consider for a partner at a square dance.
But then I was waitressing and my to be husband came in. His 2nd wife had died he was talking to my room mate a mutual friend of ours about it. She asked him out bowling to get his mind off it a little and I went along since my fiance was working that night. We had known each other in Jr high butnever dated. Well that started a rumour to my fiance that I was going out on him and I called the wedding off can't stand jealousy. About a year later we were married, at the time though would never had thought it would have happened. We were from two totally different social groups. He was the bad boy from the other side of the tracks and I was the sweet little girl in the big fancy house hehehe deb

I kind of met my wife at work. We were in Fort Campbell, Ky preparing to go the Persian Gulf in December, 1990. Members of the same MASH unit, we went to Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Kuwait together. Worked together, ate together, sat in our chemical/biological suits together, endured sand storms, flys and sheer terror together.

I guess you could call that meeting at work. Gary

Yep, but it wasn't a hospital. I worked for an engineering firm (accounting dept.) way back when, pre-nursing days. It was about a 500-person firm and I can name at least a dozen marriages that came out of it. Very romantically active place, it was.
