declared/undeclared, what about the veterans?

  1. I posted this on another thread and thought that this might be an interesting thread to get opinions on.

Since I am a veteran, I am naturally concerned for the women and men that are fighting this "war". If it is in fact a declared war then, they will be afforded all of the benefits that are given to veterans of a war. If this is not a declared "war" then, like the Viet Nam veterans, they will fall between the cracks and not given any of the benefits that they deserve.

    What do you think?

answered in that other thread too, but this is what I said:
    Did GW think of that?
I very much doubt it, there were a few things that weren't thought of (please, don't jump at my throat all of you!)
GW wasn't really famous for his thinking (at least not before 11.9.2001) and his staff is quite busy doing other things ...........
Like throwing the shrapnel-bombs looking like the foodpackages, that were dropped! (or was it not- not -thought of?)

Am I glad not to have to think about those things!
    Take care, Renee

    Dear Al:
    .
We found some more votes. You won.
When do you want to take over?

    George W. Bush

I think he is handling it pretty well.

Sorry. I am new to this and thought I was puting the above in another thread. I am for all our soldiers getting the full benefits they deserve AND for safety for civilians. I hope this ends as soon as bin Laden can be brought to his deserved justice. I just don't hink anyone has dreamed up what "justice" would look like for this animal.
