Death in family

  1. :uhoh21: I got bad news!! My grandmother and I was VERY close, we live 5 hours apart. I got a phone call from mom said that my granny isn't doing good at all, so I told her to hang in there and I remember I promised her that I would be beside her when she's dying. I rush on highway at night time without sleep for 24 hours! I arrived there, she has already died 10 minutes. I was hurted badly, so I visited her and held her hand.... it was still warm....held it till they came to pick my grandmother up to take her to funeral home.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I have this theory that sometimes a person has a little control of the exact minute they leave us, (within a few hours or days at the end of life) I'll tell you what I've told countless others, your grandmother may have known you were just minutes away when she chose to leave and she may have chose to go right before you got there because she knew how hard it would be for you to sit there while she passed. Sorry for the rambling sentence. ((((((((hugs)))))))))
