My daughter has been fighting the good fight for the last 3 years to obtain a degree in history/political science so she can teach. Yesterday, she was awarded a full scholarship
for next year. Her final year, but the best part is, she was named top scholar in the history department, found out she only needs 2 classes to finish with duel major of history/gender studies plus still have political science minor. She plans to teach 5 years, let her kids grow up some and then go to law school. She says she wants to represent women who need her. She wants to educate women about their rights, individual and collective, especially work related and domestic. I am so proud of her. I could not be there but she knows I support her battle in every way I can.
