Daughter involved in hit and run accident!!!

  1. Received a call tonight from my son to be and when any conversation starts out with, "Now don't worry Mom, she's okay." You know it ain't gonna be good. Turns out my daughter was on her way home from work, stopped at a light, when she proceeded a guy ran the other light, hitting her so hard it wiped out the front and drug part of the passengers side of the car off of her new Liberty. She immediately started chasing him, called 911, only to be given the number to a local police station....WTF, she's in the middle of a car chase. So, she gets the cops on the phone and they're all trying to home in on her location, when she losses this guy, but a family in a car started pointing which direction he went in, guess carrying another half a car would make you look twice, but in the end, she lost him. So, she went to the police station where her honey went and got her and brought her home. She has a headache but refused to go to hospital, stubborn like her Mom, what can I say. Thank God she seems okay but I hope the idiot in the gold Taurus's penis rots and falls off. I hope they catch that SOB!!!!! Mad, boy am I! Poor kid is already suffering from prewedding jitters, this was the last thing she needed. So I looked up in tearful gratitude and thanked God for taking care of my baby!

Actually that is everyones prediction. I'm hoping that the family that pointed her to the right direction thought to get a license number. By the way, how's your baby doing?

You know, I am actually relieved she lost him. Unfortunately she has her mothers temper and mouth, not a good combo when dealing with a nut or a drunk! So. I'd say God protected her twice today. I figure in the little area we live in if he goes to get his car repaired, someone will turn him in.

I was suppose to get her back today but they weren't quite done with her.
I WAS able to visit her in the hospital and she was looking pretty good.
    She comes home Monday.
    (I miss her so)

OH Duckie! I'm so glad she's OK!! I just hope she still "feels" that way in the morning!! If memory serves (I was in a wreck in high school) you hurt like heck the next day!

Yep, God was looking out for her - sent a special "guadian angel" to keep her safe!!

I'm glad she's off work this weekend cause I have a feeling you are right about how she will feel in the morning. My boy will take care of her though. He already feels like my son, God I'm so thankful she's okay!!!!! I nearly fainted when I got the call at work. Rusty, so glad you get your girl back soon, I know how you've missed her!

Glad she's okay but she needs to go to the hospital to be checked!
If she has insurance they will probably pay for the car but... they usually try to scr3w you!
The only way to break even is with your personal injury... Sad but it's the only way to break even with the insurance companies... They are not looking out for your daughter but for themselves. Tell her not to sign anything either til she is taken care of... Find it hard to believe that she is not in anyway injured from the way it sounds like she was hit... she may wake up with lots of aches and pains but glad there is nothing seriously wrong with her!
