I have--I think it's a lot of fun! There are a lot of them, so you're likely to find more than one in your area--if you ask for a travel card, you can go to any of them.

Only negative is the hours: open ~ 7/8 to 1pm, then 3pm to 7pm.

There are assorted machines with aerobic platforms between them. You work on a machine for 30 secs, then switch to a platform for a little dancing around to the music for 30 secs, etc. (they give you an extra 5 secs to change over) You do about 3 circuits and some stretches after that, and you're out of there. It's in a circle, so you can chitchat w/the other gals. There are NO BIMBOS! and no guys!

    Good Luck!

My mother-in-law goes and I don't see any change in her...she's still nuts! I've wondered about their business practice of being closed for lunch, a time when many people want to work out. Can't figure that one out!

We have on across the street from the main campus. There's a lot of people that have said good things about it. I haven't tried it...I'm sticking to free outdoors walking (because I'm cheap) :-P

did you think the exercise would sweat the "nuts" out of her??

I've been going for two years. I like the convenience and 1/2 hour work out. Weight resistence is very good for strengthening bone . . something old mothers of 3 year olds like me need.

I also like outdoor free stuff too. Jogging, hiking, walking.

Good to be well-rounded in the exercise category.

And I use exercise for therapy so Zenman isn't far off thinking that it might have changed him mil. Now my mil is wonderful. It is my mom who is crazy.

I think the idea is good, I joined last year and did not see any real results eventhough i was dieting. I gave it 3 months, the muscle strengthening is good but need a more vigorous workout, on my time. I used to work 7a to 7p and never could find a convient time to go since ours closed at 6 so i joined a large fitness club owned by the hospital.
