Coffee Indicator for Economic Success

  1. The NAB's spectacular losses have put the spotlight on the question: how do you pick currency movements?

    Well, now there's a new theory percolating through the foreign exchange markets and it may not all be froth and bubble.

    In its latest issue The Economist magazine has launched its "Tall Latte Index", I kid you not, which uses the cost of a Starbuck's coffee around the globe to assess whether a currency is undervalued or overvalued.

    rofl just kidding...am a huge caffeine addict in Seattle, is all. And I make MY OWN latte's for pennies, versus buying those at the shop, rofl. So my currency is probably skewed somehow....
