Christmas compilation CD

  1. Okay! Hey don't get mad at ME, 2ndcareerRN started all this Christmas talk. I will explain myself. Being the ex-choirgirl that I am, I love christmas carrols! Every year I make a point of purchasing a CD of Christmas songs to add to my collection. I am at a loss inspiration-wise this year. Any suggestions? What is your favorite Christmas CD?

This is my find from last year. I think you can only buy it in Canada, but man, if you can get your hands on it -- it rocks!

    check it out

Click on see all under compilations and go to Christmas Songs (2000) (need to scroll down a bit).

I actually don't have a favorite CD, but we've downloaded about 80 Christmas songs off of WinMX.
My favorite is any rendition by Tony Bennett, especially "My Favorite Things" and any jazz-type Christmas songs. I should let ya download some and make your own CD....

I like the Soundtrack from "Home Alone".. the very first Home Alone Christmas movie.

Mannheim Steamrollers have some nice CD's too for Christmas.

Harry Connick Jr's Christmas CD (don't know the title) Yummy to look at & listen to

Soundtrack to A Charlie Brown Christmas. If this doesn't put you in the mood, then you're just a cold, heartless person who hates Christmas.

Lausana, I'll have to look for that Harry Connick CD. I love his When Harry Met Sally soundtrack album.

Good one Stargazer! Also, you gotta have the Chipmunk Christmas song! "Gee I want a houla hoop...." Also the Grinch soundtrack.

Amy Grant has a great Christmas CD - Home for the Holidays. Infact, I listen to it year round because it's so soothing and relaxing! *listening to it now*

Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas in the Aire is good... so is the chipmunk one. Both are good because they aren't so mainstream thus you don't hear the songs all over the place and get sick of them a week before Christmas!

Here is a site with some of your favorite christmas songs....maybe.

Although not traditional songs, they are entertaining none the less.

After listenig to one or four here, make sure you visit the twisted tunes site, go to the vault >>> twisted tunes >>> christmas songs.

If you are a staunch traditionalist, you may want to skip the visit to the site.

Now, who can tell me how to get the songs downloaded? They seem to be protected somehow.

When my mom started playing the Elvis Christmas album when I was a kid, I knew it was getting close to time for Santa Claus to come!

    "I'll have a blue-oo-oo-oo Christmas without you..."

So of course it's my favorite.

Time life has two that are great CDs. Both double cd set sets. Go to I think it is, and check it out. I have both. The newest one I did not get but the two older ones with the red house and snow are great!
