This is an EMERGENCY. We must call in a mediator NOW!! If I notice any, ANY change in the amount of almonds in my Hershey bar I am taking this to the HIGHEST AUTHORITY. There shall be no intercoursing with my chocolate!!

Hmmmm, Hersheys is FAR better than Nestle, what will we do?????

Actually, I buy my all-time favorite chocolate in 25 pound increments, so I won't miss the Hershey's too bad.

I love my Hershey Candy Bars, too. Whenever I am having trouble cleaning out the old intestinal system, all I have to do is eat a plain Hershey Candy Bar. Works better than an x-lax any day! :roll :chuckle

On a sadder note: My husband's favorite auntie has worked for Hershey for eons, so I am hoping that strike ends really really soon so she won't lose her car, her house, and anything else she is dependent on her job for. She's a great lady, and my heart goes out to her and all the other Hershey employees while they are striking.

Did you know that as much candy as the world consumes from Hershey, they are only paying those on strike a lousy $100 per month as long as they are on strike? What can a family do with that? You give a company all your sweat and blood for years and years, and all they are worth while they are on strike are five lousy twenty dollar bills? Please pray for an end to that strike. Not just for our choco-holic states, but for the families suffering right now while they are on strike. They are striking for better healthcare benefits, etc. Thanks! :kiss

*WHO* is paying the workers while on strike? Not hershey, I hope...

Imagine, getting paid for NOT working by the company you're not working for..

Chocolate can NOT become in short supply, it would be a disaster. I am going to start hoarding it, one of the supermarkets as a buy one get one free offer on galaxy chocolate, one trolley full can not cost that much can it????

P.s. If I don't get my placement soon, which starts in less than a week there will be a chocolate shortage in the Yorkshire.

They ARE working, but in shifts. When it isn't their shift, they are carrying the strike signs, and when it is their shift, they work that shift so they should be paid something, only Hershey isn't paying them their fullwages until they all stop picketing. Whatever....
