1. Due to the Bird Flu scare over the past few months, most of us over here have not been eating any chicken. Eggs have been okay.............I only said that I would start using it again when the butcher had it back in his case besides what was shipped directly from the packing house and already sealed over the past few weeks. And that has finally happened. Has been rough the past few months when you are trying to low carb it and no chicken has been available.

    This is my wonderful news!!!!! :hatparty:

    glad you have your chicken back, suzanne! I imagine low-carbing would be QUITE difficult without it! Enjoy.

    Thanks, getting 60% of my protein from eggs hasn't been easy but I have come up with some wonderful new recipes along the way............

    Finally had a grilled piece of chicken for lunch today. It was absolutely wonderful! Actually eat a fair amount of tofu at lunch as one of my students is a vegetarian, and whenever she is in class, we have it. They have many different forms of it over here, as well as different textured soy protein to resemble just about anything, from duck to sausages, fish, etc. Also have all different types of drinks available in the morning made from soy milk by the different food vendors all over.

    Never thought that I could miss a food so much until I was able to have it today.
