I heard "The Other's" was good too.

"Two Weeks Notice" with Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant was a cute romantic comedy.

If you like Rob Schneider his movie "Hot Chicks" was hilarious!

Personally I want to see "whale Rider". It is a New Zealand film that looks VERY good - has won a stack of overseas awards. One of these quiet NZ films that blow you out of the water it seems........... can't wait!

IF yoou want some "different" vidoes/DVD's to rent try some of our recent Aussie Comedies - "Crackerjack" was a hoot!

Speaking of Aussie films, I loved "The Dish". Great story/w comedy based on the use of a dish (can't remember proper terminology) hooked into NASA to guide the astronauts home. Had some nailbiting moments and some truly funny lines. Also was a true story.

My daughter and I watched this one the other night and it WAS really funny!

Also saw Catch Me If You Can. Can't imagine doing all that Abignale did before my 19th birthday! I could never pull it off.

I enjoyed Catched Me If You Can. I also rented the second Harry Potter movie...I liked it much better than the first one.

True story but it didn't happen at Parkes it happened at Siding Springs - but for the story they just wrote it around Parkes.

We Aussies have a dry almost "laconic" sense of humour - especially in our movies - Did anyone see "The Castle"?
