Calling Store Shoppers!

  1. is anyone else having trouble receiving their goods once purchased from any lost checks or money orders? well...i mailed a money order june 5th for some merchandise, and have been to my local post office several times regarding the "lost money order", so i finally decided to file for reimbursement which i can't collect until 60 days from june 5th. states they have not received the money order as yet, and the post office stated two weeks ago the money order had not yet shown in their system to have been cashed, so now it's being traced. i want my jersey shirt and baseball cap so much -- -- but i'm not going to resend any more money until i get my first money back. however...for the record...cafepress employees and the manager have been terrific, very polite, and very professional each time i've called them to see if they'd received my money order yet. so, hats off to them for their caring and professional manner! i just wanted to ask if anyone else is having this same problem with lost checks or money orders mailed to this store. thanks!

I didn't have any problems when I ordered my tshirt. But I used my credit card. I try to use my check book as little as possible, that way I don't have to ever balance it!

I used a credit card too and got my order lickety-split. I was surprised at how quickly it arrived.
  6. by live4today time I will pay online. I really don't trust doing things like that, but I want my shirt and cap, gosh darn it!

I'll have no problem getting my money back since I kept the receipt part of the money order, and it's a postal money order. It will just take another month before my 60 days will be up. Mailing anything to California these days has not been a good thing. Heck, when I lived in California, it still took forever just to get something that was mailed within the state itself.

Thanks everyone for your feedback! I knew it wasn't the store's fault, but the mail system...or the base postal service one. You would think that after raising the cost of stamps to $.37/stamp, they'd be doing a much better job at not losing things. :chuckle
