Calgary Canada is "healthiest city in the world"

Mind you that was released by a Canadian news company so they're a little biased :chuckle

Guess where I'm flying out to next week? I like Calgary a lot, and not just bacause my brother lives there. It's near the mountains, the air IS clean and being there does make you feel healthy. I mean, there's just something cool about seeing people walking around downtown with snowboards in their hands. And they are way ahead on the public transporation thing compaired to where I live. I get the same feeling when I visit Vancouver. Now if they could only do something about all the rednecks.....(kidding).

I enjoyed visiting Calgary and Vancouver very much...great places to live.

I wouldn't mind at all if DH's business takes us that way again.

My cousins lived in Calgary for many years and I loved visiting there. But my favorite place is Lake Louise.

I like Calgary, but would never live there. The weather is just ridiculous. I've met bipolar patients off their meds who were more stable

I've lived in Calgary for better than 20 years. It is a beautiful city with lots to offer and yes the weather can be nutty.
Calgary is within a hour to the mountains with some of the best downhill skiing destinations in North America. Some of the best trout fishing in North America is right in our back yard in the Bow River.

Downtown Calgary is alive and kicking with something for everyone - arts, concerts, movies, any kind of nighclub you'd like.

And I believe is one of the fastest growing and safest cities to live in.

Oh yeah, did I mention the weather can be nutty?!

well now that the secret is out, everyone will move there, making it one of the most polluted, dangerous, crowded, crime-ridden places to live. rofl. it's always how it works ya know.
