  1. Just heard on the local news that Brando died. Godfather is my favorite movie. May he rest in peace.

Yes, I just heard. A very fine actor indeed. He had a 50 year career that was just amazing. I guess I will pull out my old Brando movies and make a movie night of it. So sad.

was just reading the news article about his death (something about deaths coming in threes reagan, ray charles, now brando). what a sad day, he was a brilliant actor and though eccentric he stayed tru to his beliefs. Godfather was also one of my favorite movies.

I was just watching a one-woman show thingie with Elaine Stritch (you would recognize her if you saw her) and she and Brando were in acting classes together. Her story about their first and second dates was really something. (Apparently they only had the two.)

I liked him in "The Teahouse of the August Moon."

How lucky we all were to have lived when he lived, and to have had the experience of seeing his art.

    RIP, "Bud."

He was one of my favorite actors and icons. Always played all those risky, eccnetic parts. I remember for most of my life, I only knew him as the old man in Godfather and Last Tango in Paris. And then, just recently I saw "A Streetcar named Desire".
I hope he died peacefully and happy with his life and I hope his family is doing okay.
