Bomb Dublin?

  1. OK, to prove I am a hypocrite I'll ask a silly question in this sad time.

If the IRA had attacked in the USA would we be planning to bomb Dublin?

U2 is my daughters favorite group. Don't they live in Belfast?
Can't even imagine such a thing or she may never visit her Mom.

    Interesting question.

First though, did you really mean Dublin? (Which would be one line of thinking) or did you mean Belfast (re: Northern Ireland).

Because, if I understand correctly, the IRA is outlawed bv both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. But their targets are mostly/all in Northern Ireland.

I disagree with Dave, it's always interesting to look at things from a different perspective. Outside the box. Like: what if the Native Americans would have triumphed etc. So let this balance his chastisement. Like I said, interesting question.

But one that's difficult to answer since the IRA was based out of Northern Ireland, but since Dublin is not in Northern Ireland, I would guess no.

It was not Iraq or anyone from there who perpetrated 9/11 either.

If anything, the UK should be attacking Boston for all its support of Sinn Fein (I can't spell), not the other way around Plus a lot of countries would bomb Canada, so I would prefer not to go into this one!

The IRA would not bomb the USA ..we are their cash cow!... Boston has more people w/ Irish Decent than Dublin anyways
