Yup. We had one that lived in a tree right outside our window last summer, and the damned thing would go off every night about 3 AM.

This is the reason they make cats.

well, what started w/one little birdie has now turned into a chorus. there's a few of them just chatting away; actually one of them is bickering, sounds pretty animated to me. some little birdie probably woke her up.

Yep, birds chirp around here at night. They wake the mule up and he starts heehawing, then the peacocks starts screeching...

I don't suppose shutting your windows is an option? Get a fan to drown 'em out with a "white" noise. Hot milk, anyone? Maybe w/a slug of something alcoholic?

Yep. The birds chirp all day long here too. Thankfully our bed room is fairly well sound proofed (night nurse, here!). But the birds not only chirp all day long, they also poop all day long. On top of our cars. Yep! Our cars are blue and white. . . or gold and white. . .

Wish my loving wife Amy wasn't so allergic to cats. . .

I am with the suggestion of the fan. I had mine on full blast last night pointed right at me and it did drown out the birds. I know that is rather irritating and I am a birder!

Yep, we have birds who chirp all ******* night ...

It's really weird. We use fans and those little sound effect boxes.

Ya know, about the only thing I like about birds is their chirp, but if they were keeping me up at night I'd be ready to use a shotgun on them. I don't get enough sleep as it is! I feel for ya girl!

I think that Nightingale's are one of the few birds that chirp at night.
I'm sure you could consult a book or the audobon society for tips on discouraging them...
    Good Luck!

I used to live in Colorado and Ohio. Moved to NC and the birds chirp at night here! I was amazed!
