Bin Laden all but admits he is responsible

  1. I have been watching the news for the last couple of hours. In that time, I have seen a tape of bin Laden sit there and call the U. S. liars--that the U.S. is at war with Islam, and not terrorism. He also stated that the US will not be at peace until it stops backing Israel (basically). He stated that God allowed the 9-11 attacks to take place, and that God will allow further actions.
Crazy fanactical @#$@%^$@ freak! And you know this tape will be broadcast to all the right people.

I have also seen that one of our government officials stated that the chance of another terrorist attacks is 100% with or without retaliation. I was glad to see the military action action take place but at the same time I fear for the safety of our country.

My friend and I just got off the phone and we were talking about what just happened. YES! I am glad that we've begun at least something. YES! I think that Bin Ladin should be turned over to the U.S. or even great Britain to face 6,000+ charges of murder. NO! I do not like the idea that there will be inocent people killed and mamed in this. NO! I don't like the fact that I will lose friends throughout this WAR!!!

But I love my country and the freedoms that it affords me and to have to live in fear that something can happen here is beyond my own comprehension. I just hope that our honorable president continues with his plans on the war against terrorism and doesn't back off when people start whining. I hope that he doesn't make the same mistake that Clinton did by "spanking the enemy" and saying don't do that again.

The United States has, in the past, reminded me of a parent with a child. The child wants arms to help defend themselves, whines about it and we give it to them. The child wants our forces to help them root out the enemy, we send troops. The child got it's way and tells us to leave, we leave. The child gets a fanatic in power, uses bombs on us (the world trade center '93) and we spank them by lobbing a few bombs at them. The child sees that the consequences aren't that severe and does it again, but this time with airplanes......now that parent is really pissed off and come at them full force....what do you think the parent is going to do next?

I feel the same way about the parent/child thing, but at the same time feel like Bush has done the right thing.

I would be pushing those buttons myself if they would let me go.

I think most of the people who are not involved in this have had the smarts enough to get the hell out of there by now, at least I hope so.

They are being very specific on tv about the precision of the attacks, and the fact that they are NOT targeting the "people" but the government.

I think they might just get the hint this time, don't you?

Maybe it will take destroying all of them (terrorists) before they stop, but I think it will all be good in the end.

Got this via e-mail. Sounds good to me!!!

The best solution to the Bin Laden problem?

Killing him will only create a martyr. Holding him

prisoner will inspire his comrades to take hostages to

    demand his release.

Therefore, I suggest we do neither.

Let the special forces, Seals or whatever, covertly

capture him, fly him to an undisclosed hospital and

have surgeons quickly perform a complete sex change

    operation.

Then we return HER to Afghanistan to live as a

    woman under the Taliban!
