Me and my best friend have been bf's 6th, almost 10 years. i love her! i think what led the 2 of us together is that we both have such low tolerance for the stupid people surrounding us lol!

My best friend and I met in the 4th grade. (22years) and I am the luckiest person alive. I love her very much. She has been through everything with me and I with her.
We have each had our growing pains, but our friendship never wavers.

stephany you ask the nicest questions !!!.

my best friend who was also my matron of honor, and my beautician or she has been one of my constant friends for 27 years i believe. she probably knows me better than anyone.

we kind of dated the same guy at one time in high school and i always tease her that she "stole" him away from me.. actually he's kind of a jerk now, so alls well i guess. she married a really nice tall, dark and handsome fellow, he's very attractive and his hair is always "sharp"..

    how about your favorite?

My best friend and I have been together for 18 years, 17 of which we have been married. (I know that sounds corny, but my hubby really is my best friend!)

The friend I've had the longest sat behind me in the 6th grade. SHe moved in the 9th grade and we haven't lived in the same state since. She was really excited when she moved to Houston,TX. area and said we were finally right next door. I told her to get the map and check out the size of Texas.

My best friend is the mother of my neices best friend. I raised my neice and the kids were in dance and school activities and we were together alot. We are the sisters we never had. (Well, I really do have a sister but don't like her at all).

My BF and I hated each other when we first met (5th grade). However, that soon blew over and we've been friends ever since, through multiple changes, tragedies and moves (she's in CA now and I'm in OK). There have been spaces in our friendship when life was just too full to stay really close but then we always reconnect...we're both 45 now.

My best friend I & met in Jr High when I transfered to a new school, her first words to me at summer volleyball practice were "where did you come from". LOL, she still denies that to this day!

Man, we make each other laugh so hard, and even her emails make me howl out loud. I guess this is our 8th year together! On a side note, she's a red-head...that may explain her personality! :kiss

During the past year I've gone separate ways with my other 2 best girlfriends...their boys and moves have come in between us...this makes me miss them

My best friend & I have decided to look forward to the days when ALL of our husbands are divorced and gone & are kids are grown, so we can re-live our teenage years! :wink2:

I have 2 very best friends, have known them both for over 20yrs. One is a fellow nurse(we went to school together) and the other is an MD who was a nurse.
I don't know what I'd do without them.
My other best friend that goes without saying is my husband and we've been together for 20yrs.

I have three long term best friends. One I met in 1961, and the two I met in 1965. Funny thing is...that neither really cares for the others! The one I met in the 1961, became my friend...I think because she was just a natural person. She is who she, and never anyone different. She is the same person today...that she was back in 1961. Just more some other ways just the same. We got in more trouble together...:chuckle!

The other two One of them was older than me, and caught site of me in my window pane dress/and wearing my window pane stockings...when I got caught on a doorknob. She was in a upper classroom across the hall, and busted out :chuckle. We became fast inseparable friends! She has many talents, and was my partying friend in those days, and continued to be a close confidant. The other was in my class for a short time....but in my life ever sense. She taught me how to whistle like a boy, and turned me on to coffee houses, and poetry readings. She has the strongest family of anyone I have ever known! She will tell you exactly what she thinks. So if you don't want to know the not to get within speaking distance...:chuckle! I love them all like sisters, and they accept me for who I am! There is nothing that either of these three couldn't say to me, or I to them. Except they can't and won't say anything bad about the others. For me.... they tolerate each my presence at least...:chuckle. In my travels they have kept up with me, and when I have gone back home...we all pick up like..I had never left!

They forever telling me to come home, and settle down...even though they know I won't. But each time I move somewhere ...they make plans to come see me! That is after giving me the customary speech about coming home...:chuckle. I'm truly very blessed!!

My best friend has been a significant part of my life since 1981.
I met her through a mutual friend at work. LOL, she had/has a VERY young voice, and would call the store to speak to one of the workers......I always thought it was his little sister. Took me 4 months to find out it was his wife!
Bev is the sweetest spirited person I have ever known in my entire life. We have been through miscarriages, deaths, childbirth, marrige name it, we have probably been through it.
She, along with my mom, has been my inspiration for going back to school, and going for my RN.
Life has dealt us very busy schedules lately, and we do not get to see each other as often as we would like.........but the time will come again when we will be able to just sit by the pool, sip drinks and be our foolish selves

Thanks for starting this thread..............great one!

My best friend and I met when we were 18. My husband and hers were friends.
I think one thing I liked about her was her wonderful sense of humor. We complement each other, our personalities are really very different.Shes more reserved and peace ful and I am more agressive and "wide open".
In the 34 years we have been friends we have been through so much together. We have shared a lot of joy and sorrow. No matter how bad things get for us we can always find something to laugh about!
